The fragile ecosystem of the Baltic Sea is today strongly threatened by environmental toxins and eutrophication. Below are three tips on how you can help save the Baltic Sea.
1. Buy organic products
In organic farming, no chemicals are used that have a negative effect on the sea when it reaches the ocean.
2. Use environmentally friendly detergents
Do not buy detergents that contain phosphates or synthetic surfactants.
3. Be sparing with fertilizer in the garden
Manure affects eutrophication in the Baltic Sea when it is carried on to groundwater and watercourses, and eventually ends up in the sea.
Treefling cares about the environment, which is why we only use organic ingredients in our products.
